Jamie Owen’s achievements are going from strength-to-strength. His documentary ‘The Secret Betrayal’ recently won bronze at the New York Documentary Awards’. It was filmed in Liverpool and tells the story of the forced repatriation of merchant seaman at the end of the Second World War.

This was extraordinary. However, even more amazing, ‘The Secret Betrayal’ won first prize at the 2022 CMG Annual Awards held on the 23rd April 2023, in the documentary category. There were more than 1,000 entries from CMG’s 47 television channels, and 17 radio channels so what an achievement this is. Many congratulations Jamie.
