Anthony Stuart Lloyd, the deep-voiced Divo described as the man with the ‘Rolls-Royce Voice’. He has recently featured on Simon Cowell’s ‘Walk The Line’ on primetime network ITV and ‘BBC1’s ‘The Voice’, garnering glowing feedback from the panellists.
Anthony’s background as a ‘legit’ West End and Opera singer, redefines event entertainment, where the silver-fox songster instantly captivates his audiences with his presence, personality and uniqueness. His vocal versatility also sees him present uplifting crossover renditions of pop ballads and soft-rock anthems.
As part of HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, Anthony was honoured to be invited as the Welsh contingent as part of The Commonwealth Resounds, tying in with the lighting of the Platinum Jubilee Beacons with the Welsh language version of ‘A Life Lived With Grace’.
Anthony’s background in the legitimate theatre, with successes in London’s West End and international opera, adds a sense of drama to his performance, which transcends that which is merely vocal, his credits include Jacob in ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ on London’s famous Drury Lane opposite ‘H’ from Steps, his one-man show ‘Howard Keel: The Centennial Celebration’ at ‘Live at Zédel’, Piccadilly Circus and The Ghost of Christmas Present in the London Palladium Production of ‘Scrooge – The Musical’ opposite Shane Richie.
As a guest principal artist, Anthony has also sung with; Welsh National Opera, Freiburg Opera, Toulouse Capitole Opera, the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the Northern Lights Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra to name a few.
A Royal Command Performance, for His Majesty Qaboos bin Said The Sultan of Oman at the Bait al-Barakah Palace; saw Anthony invited to return to perform at the Al Bustan Palace. His appearances at other prestigious events include; The Not Forgotten Association at The Tower of London and their Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in the presence of The Princess Royal, Wales@Wafi in Dubai in the presence of HH Sheikh Juma Bin-Maktoum Al Maktoum, ‘Visit Wales’s’ events at Ottawa’s Chateau Laurier & National Gallery of Canada, the Women’s Institute’s Centennial celebrations for the East Kent Federation and ‘The Emerging Vision’ in the presence of the late Diana, Princess of Wales.
Anthony has provided movie voice-overs including; Operavox’s puppet animation of Rigoletto, Twin Towns, The Warrior, Unseen Evil: Revenge of the Chiss and AI Games Character voices for ‘Replica’ Studios in Brisbane.
