Steve made his West End debut in the Olivier-nominated comedy The Upstart Crow at the Gielgud Theatre. He has also performed in various seasons at the National Theatre and toured extensively with companies such as the Welsh National Opera, Hull Truck, and the Medieval Players, appearing in numerous acclaimed productions across major theatres nationwide.
On film, Steve’s roles range from The Musketeer and Inkheart to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, Cemetery Junction, and Bad Education: The Movie with Jack Whitehall.
His extensive television credits include After Life, Inside No 9, Big School, No Heroics, Krod Mandoon, Extras, Not Going Out, Stella (for which he was also a writer), and The Tuckers, which he both created and stars in. Further credits include David Walliams' Boy in a Dress, BBC’s Dickensian, Rovers (Sky 1), Decline and Fall, Upstart Crow, Tourist Trap, and Die Fledermaus with the Welsh National Opera.
This year, Steve reprised his role as ‘Mr Davis’ in Ricky Gervais' hit Netflix series After Life. He continues to lead the BAFTA Cymru-nominated comedy The Tuckers, which recently launched its third series on BBC Wales and iPlayer.
Recent projects include Channel 4’s 4Stories: Wet Look and the BBC One adaptation of David Walliams' Gangster Granny Strikes Again.
Beyond acting, Steve is recognised as a talented writer and creative force, with a unique ability to balance drama and comedy across stage, television, and film. He is also a much sought-after after-dinner speaker and event host in Wales.
